The origins of the Eiroa legacy trace back to 1916, when Generoso Eiroa began cultivating tobacco in Cuba. His profound passion for the craft laid the cornerstone of a multi-generational heritage. By the early 1960s, the expertise of Julio Eiroa had become a prominent force in the industry. Following the upheaval of the Bay of Pigs invasion, Julio relocated to Honduras, where the striking similarity of its soil to that of Cuba’s fertile lands enabled him to pioneer premium tobacco cultivation in the region.

Following a brief interlude, the legacy was reinvigorated in 2012 with the establishment of CLE Cigar Company by Christian Eiroa. This enterprise birthed several distinguished brands—CLE, Eiroa, and Asylum Cigars—each reflecting a unique facet of tradition, innovation, and meticulous artistry.
